Actor BiosKristen Stewart -(born April 9, 1990) Stewart was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where she also currently lives with her family. Her father, John Stewart, is a stage manager and television producer who worked for Fox. Her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart, is a scriptwriter who came from Australia. She attended school until the seventh grade, and continued her education by correspondence. She has an older brother, Cameron. Stewart is an avid surfer and guitar-player; a fan of rock music, her favorite bands include U2, Radiohead, The Beatles, The Specials, Laura Marling, Green Day, Nirvana and Beck. Kristen confirmed to Vanity Fair that she is currently dating actor Michael Angarano. Robert Thomas-Pattinson - (born 13 May 1986) Pattinson was born in London, England. His mother, Clare, worked for a modeling agency, and his father, Richard, imported vintage cars from the U.S. He became involved in amateur theatre through the Barnes Theatre Company. After some backstage experience there, he took on acting roles. He caught the attention of an acting agent in a production of Tess of the D’Urbervilles, and began looking for professional roles. Since then he has performed in an amateur version of Macbeth at the Old Sorting Office Arts Centre, as well as trying his hand at modeling. Taylor Daniel Lautner - (born February 11, 1992) Taylor was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Deborah and Dan Lautner. Lautner began studying karate at the age of six, training at Fabiano’s Karate School in Holland, Michigan. By the following year, he began winning tournaments. He was soon invited to train with seven-time world karate champion Mike Chat and, when he was eight, he was asked to represent his country in the twelve years and under division in the World Karate Association where he proved himself by becoming the Junior World Forms and Weapons champion, winning three gold medals. Lautner began his acting career after his martial arts instructor persuaded him to audition for a part in a Burger King advertisement in Los Angeles. Although he was unsuccessful, he enjoyed the experience so much that decided to pursue a career in acting. Soon, he and his family were traveling back-and-forth from their home in Michigan to California so that Taylor could audition for acting roles on a regular basis. When Lautner was ten, his family relocated to Los Angeles to allow him to pursue acting full-time. He continued to flourish in the martial arts circuit; in 2003, at only eleven years old, he was ranked number one in the world for NASKA’s Black Belt Open Forms, Musical Weapons, Traditional Weapons and Traditional Forms and, by the age of twelve, he won Junior World Championships. Peter Facinelli - (born November 26, 1973) Facinelli grew up in Ozone Park, Queens, New York, the son of Italian immigrants Bruna, a homemaker, and Peter Facinelli, Sr., a waiter. He studied acting at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City; his teachers there included William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, Giancarlo Esposito, and Camryn Manheim. Facinelli met his future wife, Jennie Garth, on the set of An Unfinished Affair, a 1996 made-for-TV movie. They married onJanuary 20, 2001. He and Garth have three daughters together: Luca Bella (June 22, 1997), Lola Ray (December 6, 2002) and Fiona Eve (September 30, 2006). Elizabeth Ann Reaser - (born June 15, 1975) Reaser was born in Bloomfield, Michigan, an affluent Detroit suburb, the daughter of Karen Davidson and John Reaser. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School. She also attended Birmingham Seaholm High School and graduated from Avondale High School. She once appeared in a London stage production for only two audience members, and in preparation for her role on Saved she hung out in an emergency room, researching the behavior of medical staff. In October 2004, Interview magazine hailed her as one of the “14 To Be” emerging creative women. She earned the “Jury Award” at the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2006 for her work in the film Sweet Land, and in 2007 was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award as “Best Female Lead” for the same part. Reaser also earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her recurring guest appearance throughout 2007 on the television series Grey’s Anatomy as an unidentified pregnant woman suffering from amnesia. Nicole Houston “Nikki” Reed - (born May 17, 1988) Reed was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Cheryl Houston, a hairdresser, and Seth Reed, a set designer. She has an older brother, Nathan. Reed’s father is Jewish and her mother is of Cherokee and Italian descent; Reed was raised without religion though grew up around Judaism (her brother had a Bar Mitzvah). Reed has described her home life as “complicated.” She attended Palms Middle School. Her parents divorced when she was two, and she grew up with her mother. She describes herself as having been “shy and a bookworm,” but at the age of twelve she became rebellious and emotionally volatile. The relationship between Reed and her mother became strained when Reed experimented with drugs, alcohol, and sex. At the age of fourteen, Reed was emancipated; she then moved out and began living on her own. She had no specific desire to become an actress. Kellan Christopher Lutz - (born March 15, 1985) Lutz is the middle child of 6 brothers and 1 sister. He was born in Dickinson, North Dakota and was raised throughout North Dakota, the Midwest, and Arizona. He started modeling when he was 13 or 14, and after graduating high school he moved to Los Angeles for college where he then decided to pursue an acting career. Had he not chosen this path, however, he had considered a career in Chemical engineering or becoming a Navy SEAL. Lutz has close friendships with his Twilight co-stars, particularly Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone, who he knew before the movie began filming. He says that his 23rd birthday was spent with the cast, saying, “I hung out with the cast of Twilight and went on a crazy adventure with a loony cab driver.” Lutz is currently dating actress Kayla Ewell. Ashley Michele Greene - (born February 21, 1987) Greene was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Joe and Michele Greene, and attended Wolfson High School. She moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of 17 to pursue an acting career. Greene has one sibling, Joe, who still resides in Jacksonville with her parents. Greene initially planned to become a model, but was told that she wasn’t tall enough to be a runway model and should instead focus on commercials. After taking commercial and acting classes, she fell in love with acting and realized that she preferred it over modeling. Greene thus graduated high school early at the age of 17 and moved to L.A. to pursue an acting career Jackson Rathbone - (born December 21, 1984) Rathbone was born in Singapore and has lived in places ranging from Indonesia to Midland, Texas. He started out in local theatre in Midland, Texas with the youth actors program “The Pickwick Players”, initially doing musical theatre. For his junior and senior years of high school, Rathbone attended the Interlochen Arts Academy, a private school for the arts in Michigan, where he majored in acting. After graduation, he had planned to go to the Royal Scottish Academy, but went instead to Los Angeles to experiment with the big screen. He immediately signed onto Disney’s 411, and had a leading role in the ABC Family show Beautiful People, which premiered in fall 2005. When not busy pursuing a TV/film career, Rathbone also enjoys music, writing, singing and producing. He performs in a band, called 100Monkeys, with two friends that he met in high school at Interlochen Arts Academy. |
