Kristen Stewart is picky about who she wants appearing in the Twilight sequelNew Moon. One thing’s certain, she doesn’t want AnnaLynne McCord anywhere the set, according to a report in Star.
Stewart “went crazy” after she found out that 90210 hottie AnnaLynne McCord was being considered for a role as a sexy seductress in the movie.
“Kristen was jealous and annoyed by the attention heaped on AnnaLynne,” said a source.
It looks like Kristen won’t have to lose much sleep about it. McCord bowed out of the project, saying it conflicted with her schedule.

Online that 14-year old Dakota Fanning has been offered the role of Jane in the Twilight sequel. According to a source familiar with the situation, “There were no auditions. They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. They’ve been going back and forth.”

So after a romp with vampires, it’s “put another dime in the jukebox baby” for Kristen Stewart. She is gearing up to play the role of Joan Jett in the upcoming movie The Runaways. The movie is about the punk practitioner’s 1970s all-girl rock band responsible for “Cherry Bomb,” “Queens of Noise” and “Born to Be Bad.”
Video director Floria Sigismondi wrote the screenplay and is directing, while John and Art Linson and River Road Entertainment’s Bill Pohlad are producing. Jett will act as an executive producer.
The film will revolve around Jett and Currie and follow them from the band’s meteoric rise as teenagers to their dissolution and disillusionment.
The movie is eyeing a 2009 start and will work around Stewart’s commitments to the two “Twilight” sequels. The first one, “New Moon,” is expected to shoot sometime in first-quarter 2009, with Stewart reprising her role as Bella, the human who falls for a vampire.
“Twilight” has made more than $120 million since opening Nov. 21.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Catherine Hardwicke helmed the massively successful “Twilight,” making stars out of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, along with having the biggest opening weekend ever for a female film director, but she will not return for the vampire sequel, “New Moon.”
Nikki Finke’s Deadline Hollywood Daily first broke the news that Hardwicke would not return and on Sunday the director released a statement toVariety. “I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct ‘New Moon,’” Hardwicke said in a statement released to the entertainment trade mag. “Directing ‘Twilight’ has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their passionate support of the film. I wish everyone at Summit the best with the sequel — it is a great story.”
It appears that Summit didn’t give her her offer for the sequel in accordance with her timeline and she opted out. It seems that Hardwicke and the studio had some friction and told Deadline Hollywood Daily that she was “difficult” and “irrational”.
