New rumor has emerged by the hour that “Twilight” co-stars Nikki Reed and Robert Pattinson are secretly dating. According to Lainey Gossip, which is the first to report that matter, the twosome has been spotted spending some quality time together on and off the set of “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” in Vancouver, Canada.
Nikki, still according to Lainey Gossip, hung up with Robert at his place on Sunday, April 29. Later that evening they hooked up again. They attended a Juno Awards after party with the companion of fellow “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart and her actor boyfriend Michael Angarano.

Twilight sensation Robert Pattinson totally immersed himself in his brooding Edward Cullen character months before filming began. In fact, he says he even wrote little suicide notes to articulate the tortured mindset of his on-screen alter ego.
“If you really prepare for a role, there’s going to be a moment in which he’s all you can think of,” Rob, 22, recounts. “So I did things like [write] little suicide notes. I was a little worrisome, actually (laughs).”
What triggered this morbidity in the usually-cheery Brit was when he started keeping a journal as Edward in the weeks before shooting began on Twilight. Understanding the vampire’s morose mindset was key to fully inhabiting the role.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson is way more attractive to girls thanHarry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe. At least that’s what Radcliffe, 19, says about his former Harry Potter co-star Rob, 22.
In 2005, Daniel worked with Pattinson when Rob played Cedric Diggory inHarry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. At the time, the self-deprecating Rob stated in several interviews that Radcliffe was cooler and more attractive to the opposite sex than he was.
“[Daniel Radcliffe is] just so far superior to me in terms of desirability,” Pattinson said in 2005. “If I was Katie [Leung, who played Harry Potter's love interest Cho Chang in Goblet of Fire], I would definitely go out with [Daniel] because he’s rich and famous, and I’m not really…I think Dan could steal anyone from me. If I were a girl, I’d pick Dan.”

Robert Pattinson’s agent, Nicholas Frenkel, confirmed that scheduling conflicts were to blame for his decision to abandon the project. He told MTV, “What you heard is correct. Unfortunately, the prep time and production schedule on ‘New Moon’ haven’t left enough time for Robert to work on ‘Parts per Billion’ in the first quarter of this year.”
New Moon is scheduled to begin filming in March of this year. The movie is tentatively set for a November 2009 release date. Other stars
reprising their roles include Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen, Kristin Stewart as Bella Swan, Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black and Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale.
Other films that Pattinson stars in include Little Ashes, in the role of Salvador Dali and How To Be, a comedy/drama that was filmed in London, England.

Robert Pattinson the next Zac Effron? Could be possible in more ways than one. The Twilight star is following in the more established heartthrob’s footsteps.
Robert is said to be on casting directors’ wish list for the upcoming sequel to Hairspray - which was Zac’s first big screen hit.
And if that isn’t enough of a kick in the teeth for the High School Musical star, Rob is reportedly going to being making movie magic with Zac’s girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
Vanessa Hudgens is rumoured to be in the frame to play Leah in the Twilight sequel New Moon.

Of course we could go ahead and assume this already with his good looks and charm. It seems he and Camilla Belle (Joe Jonas’ current love, incase anyone care) we spotted having lunch together at the Three Square Bakery in Venice, Ca.
Pattinson was spotted opening and closing doors for Belle. Despite the afternoon date, a source tells Us that Belle (who recently attended the L.A. premiere of Twilight) and Jonas have not split. But this is not the first time the two have been out and about with each other. They also attended a dinner honoring Rihanna back in June of this year.
I did have pictures of the two from their lunch date this week, but was asked to take them down as they were going for a ridiculous amount of money according to a rep at National Photo Group.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Catherine Hardwicke helmed the massively successful “Twilight,” making stars out of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, along with having the biggest opening weekend ever for a female film director, but she will not return for the vampire sequel, “New Moon.”
Nikki Finke’s Deadline Hollywood Daily first broke the news that Hardwicke would not return and on Sunday the director released a statement toVariety. “I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct ‘New Moon,’” Hardwicke said in a statement released to the entertainment trade mag. “Directing ‘Twilight’ has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their passionate support of the film. I wish everyone at Summit the best with the sequel — it is a great story.”
It appears that Summit didn’t give her her offer for the sequel in accordance with her timeline and she opted out. It seems that Hardwicke and the studio had some friction and told Deadline Hollywood Daily that she was “difficult” and “irrational”.
