twilight movie

Actor Robert Pattinson will present an award at this year’s Oscars, entertainment site hitfix has confirmed. The British-born star shot to fame in the recent horror flick ‘Twilight’, in which he plays a vampire called Edward Cullen who falls in love with a mortal. The hit film raked in $357 million worldwide. Rumours about Pattinson’s appearance at the Academy Awards have been circulating for a while, but his attendance has now been confirmed. The star may be handing over a golden statuette to Brad Pitt or his beautiful wife Angelina Jolie – both have been nominated for awards this year.

Who’s hotter? The Jonas Brothers, or Robert Pattinson in “Twilight”?

One thing’s for sure: Together, they could rule the teenage girl world.

The Jonas Brothers talked to MTV about being involved in the “New Moon” soundtrack.  They’d even love to write a song especially for the new film.

“The movie was obviously a huge success, and if they asked us to be a part of [the sequel], that would be great,” Nick Jonas said.

Not sure how great of a movie this will be (especially in 3-D). I remember the old ‘My Bloody Valentine’ and it was awful! I am a huge horror freak though, so of course I will watch it. Here’s a sneek peek from the movie.

As Dr. Carlyle Cullen, the patriarch of the vampire Cullen family, Peter Facinelli plays an important role in “Twilight” — and his wife, “90210” star Jennie Garth, told Access Hollywood‘s Billy Bush in an interview forAccess and “The Billy Bush Show” that fans will be seeing a lot more of him.

“Not so much in the second one, but in the third and the fourth one,” she said. “He’s just so happy to be a part of it and proud of it.”

But, she said, some young fans of the film may have seen too much of him already — or at least her daughter Luca Bella, 11, thinks so.

“It’s so funny because my daughter has friends that have seen the movie and they think that Dr. Carlyle is hot,” Jennie said. “She gets all weirded out, and like, ‘Eww, that’s my dad.’”

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Catherine Hardwicke helmed the massively successful “Twilight,” making stars out of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, along with having the biggest opening weekend ever for a female film director, but she will not return for the vampire sequel, “New Moon.”

Nikki Finke’s Deadline Hollywood Daily first broke the news that Hardwicke would not return and on Sunday the director released a statement toVariety. “I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct ‘New Moon,’” Hardwicke said in a statement released to the entertainment trade mag. “Directing ‘Twilight’ has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their passionate support of the film. I wish everyone at Summit the best with the sequel — it is a great story.”

It appears that Summit didn’t give her her offer for the sequel in accordance with her timeline and she opted out. It seems that Hardwicke and the studio had some friction and told Deadline Hollywood Daily that she was “difficult” and “irrational”.
